elect Tom for Senate
I have been reading this blog for months. The calling from the wilderness is having an effect and hopefully the people of Delaware are waking up and ready for change. Keep up the good work. I would like Tom to run for Senate and I cannot abide another Biden and for that matter Mike Castle. I wrote my Senator and Congressman in the past (weekly due to the progressive agenda) and swear they both have the same office. You see, Mike Castle has sent my straight up liberal boilerplate material concerning the climate change legislation. At least the Biden sit in has an excuse, he's a liberal. Sorry, progressive. The sheer arrogance of our elected officials is upsetting and at times makes me so mad I could spit nails. I am a new member of the libertarian party although my beliefs have been libertarian for years. Voting for our next Senator is important espicially with the momentum created by Scott Brown. However we are stuck with two terrible choices as far as I am concerned and look to you Tom to step up to the plate and hit a home run. If more people read this blog I am sure they would agree with me and elect Tom as our new Senator. I am absolutely serious and should Tom not agree with me then please, let me down easy. The only political people talking sense anymore are right here.
Sincerely
Bern
I concur, though I don't know Tom.
I just found out I was a Libertarian. It should have been obvious, how many Sussex County rednecks do you know that have Thomas Jefferson as a hero? It's funny how I can explain Thomas Jefferson to a bunch of rednecks, and quote some of his quotes, and tell them what he did for our freedoms, yet not one person has bothered to call me a Libertarian. But if I went around telling them how different widow treatments could bring a room together, and how sharp angles created a negative atmosphere those same people woulnd't have a problem calling me a ... uh.. interior decorator.
I don't know you Tom, but I aim to find out. I'm out of the closet, and looking for a good man or woman to call "MY elected official". I'm here, I'm Libertarian, get used to it. I'm Faabulous.
And I'm sick and tired of the deadwood on Capitol Hill wasting my time and dollars to further their elitist's agenda. Let's bring them down. And if you don't want to run Tom, whoever you are. That just makes me want you for the job even more. My vote is Libertarian. Or Alfred E. Neuman, depending on who steps up to the stump against these knuckleheads and their old english money.
I'm a Sussex County redneck. One with a voter card, and I will be heard.

Vote for Jim Rash for Senate
Thank you both for your confidence, but running for office is just not in the cards for me this year.
However, our state chair Jim Rash has just announced his intention to run for U.S. Senate, and I am happy to support him.
